HI DOH e-Permitting System - Food and Drug Branch

Many consumer products are introduced to the market every year and it is important for the public to know what products are safe.  The Food and Drug Branch safeguards public health by ensuring that food, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices and related consumer products are safe, effective and properly labeled.  They do this through administration of the statewide Food and Drug program, a regulatory program that is mandated by law.  

 

The program allows for the inspection of establishments where these products are manufactured, distributed, or sold. It also investigates complaints, and collects samples to determine compliance with product standards.  You can access the applications and forms for inspections and investigations on this e-Permitting Portal.
