The Environmental Health Services Division (EHSD) of Hawaii’s Department of Health is responsible for implementing and maintaining statewide programs to assure the safety of food and drugs, control noise and radiation, and improve indoor air quality. The division is also responsible for lead abatement, sanitation, and vector control (rats, mosquitoes, and other public health threats).  EHSD oversees the overall administration of the food and drug, sanitation, and indoor radiological health branches.

All permit applications and forms administered within these branches can be accessed on this e-Permitting portal.  To find a specific permit application, please use the Application Finder. You can also use the Organization Browser (on the left) if you know the organization which is responsible for the required permit application.
