The Environmental Management Division (EMD) includes the Clean Air Branch, the Clean Water Branch, the Safe Drinking Water Branch, the Solid & Hazardous Waste Branch and the Wastewater Branch.
The Environmental Management Division (EMD) is responsible for the management of the environmental branches within the Department of Health (DOH). EMD oversees the clean air, clean water, solid & hazardous waste, wastewater, and safe drinking water branches. They provide executive and functional leadership, policy, oversight and coordination for these branches.
All permit applications under EMD branches are under the overall management of the EMD and can be accessed through this e-Permitting portal. The division strives to deliver efficient and effective environmental services to the public.
To find a specific permit application, please use the Application Finder. You can also use the Organization Browser (on the left) if you know the organization which is responsible for the required permit application.Once a permit application is submitted, our primary goal is to process your permit application(s) in an efficient and timely manner.
